Telling the truth about where you are in your life allows you to close the gaps between where you find yourself currently and where you wish to be. You cannot change what you don't know!
When you're on a merry-go-round you don't have the time or energy to observe yourself.
What if you gave yourself permission to stop reacting and simply observed yourself as you move through life?
For me, that means a daily mindfulness meditation practice.
Telling the truth often means hurting, hurting ourselves or someone else. That's scary. What if, for this one week period, you let those "painful" thoughts go as they arise. Simply notice your tendency to couch what you say, avoid speaking your truth, or deny something that's bothering you. Just observe with no judgments.
